Requirements for Studying in the Netherlands through a Scholarship

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:

  1. Be a citizen of a country in Africa.
  2. Have applied for a Master’s program at the university before the application deadline.
  3. Meet the acceptable criteria for Master’s study.
  4. Be in the top 5% of your undergraduate class with a minimum grade of 80%.

Special Requirements for Application to the University for Master’s Study:

  1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  2. Have a GPA equivalent to 80% or a GPA of 3.2/4.
  3. Provide proof of English language proficiency:
    • IELTS: 6.5, with a minimum of 6 in speaking.
    • TOEFL IBT: 92, with a minimum of 23 in speaking.

Steps for Applying for Free Scholarships in the Netherlands

  1. First, you must apply for a Master’s program at the university before the application deadline. You can learn about the steps here.
  2. Afterward, in March 2024, a notification will be sent to students who have received unconditional acceptance for the Master’s program at the university. They will be invited to apply for the scholarship.
  3. Subsequently, 20 individuals will be selected for the final interview.
